Sales on OpenSea this week were significantly lower than during previous periods. The highest daily sales over the course of the week were recorded on October 18th, standing at $71.75 million, according to Dapp Radar.

3. Announcement of the lazy minting function on the Rarible Twitter accountsource

Great news for artists! The Rarible marketplace launched the Lazy Minting feature on October 18th, which allows NFT minting for free. Under the given feature, the buyer pays the gas commission directly at the time of the transaction. Previously, this feature was only available on the OpenSea marketplace.
